StudioLab solo (Virtual Class)
Calling all folks interested in learning the basics of recording, production and songwriting; this class is for you! This 3-week Thursday evening class (with a final showcase on Friday May 21) will be chock full of the basics of how to write, record and mix a song. You will use Soundtrap to interactively learn the basics of recording MIDI instruments. Then, with assistance from a coach, you will write a song in Soundtrap using all the virtual instruments, beats, loops and more that are built into the software.
Soundtrap Workshops will include:
Audio recording (guitar, vocals, etc)
Working with virtual instruments
No previous musical experience is necessary AND no previous recording, production or Soundtrap experience is required. A computer, WiFi and headphones are required, but you are welcome to borrow one of our laptops and headphone sets as needed. Classes are held in a stimulating, virtual environment and will take place over Zoom.
Who: Women (cis and trans) and nonbinary folks, ages 18+
